All eyes are on Caitlin Clark as she prepares to take to the court with Team USA for the FIBA World Cup.
Caitlin Clark has a decorated junior history with Team USA, winning three gold medals: the 2017 FIBA U16 Americas Championship and both the 2019 and 2021 FIBA U19 World Cups. And she took home tournament MVP honors in 2021 after averaging 14.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 5.6 assists.
In senior play, she has averaged 11.6 points and 6.4 assists in five FIBA World Cup qualifiers, and will be looking to improve on that in Germany.
Caitlin Clark ‘excited’ to play with Aaliyah Boston for Team USA

Clark said: “Anytime you wear USA across your chest, it’s a tremendous honor,” Clark said. “And to be surrounded by so many great players, some of which have already won Olympic gold medals, some have been on the World Cup team before. And I get to share it with (Boston), too, so it’s pretty cool and pretty fun, and I’m excited about it.”
It remains to be seen as to what roles both players will play, but judging off history, it has been suggested that Caitlin Clark may even have a bench role.
