Caitlin Clark has caused a stir of excitement with her name finally appearing on the list for Team USA in the FIBA World Cup. Clark making her debut has obviously increased the chances of the team winning, and it looks like she is already in line for the MVP title of the tournament.
Clark, among numerous others, has already been named as a potential winner of the MVP, along with her teammates Breanna Stewart and Paige Bueckers. This has only made fans all the more excited for the World Cup, to see Team USA not only attempt another title win but also to see Clark impress on an international stage.

Caitlin Clark has also been listed as a potential MVP winner in this year’s WNBA season as well. However, in this case, her name has not been resounded as much as the other candidates, such as A’ja Wilson, rookie Olivia Miles, and even her own teammate, Kelsey Mitchell.
Meanwhile, Team USA will definitely need to amplify their performance now after it was confirmed that veterans like Kelsey Plum and Wilson will not be playing this time. Both the ladies are struggling with injuries, with Plum being cleared for the rest of the season.
Caitlin Clark Still Has No Plans Of Joining Unrivaled
On another note, Caitlin Clark still does not seem to have any idea of playing for the Unrivaled League during the offseason. Clark seems to be the only player in the entire Team USA roster who is not part of the league co-founded by Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart. While the other ballers try to make more money through this 3×3 league, Clark has always tried to use her offseason to play some golf and relax.
It was not that Clark was not given an offer. Right from the debut season of the league, Clark has been getting invites, but the hooper has always turned them down. With the new CBA regulations granting her a bigger paycheck from the Fever soon, Clark has even more reason to relax during the offseason rather than play in the Unrivaled League.
