Schalke 04 sensationally held Bayern Munich to a goalless draw, with Karius playing a key role. The veteran goalkeeper produced a string of impressive saves to keep Bayern at bay and help Schalke secure a hard-earned point.
Defenders:
Josha Vagnoman, Stuttgart
A dynamic presence down the right-hand side, Vagnoman scored an impressive goal for the second consecutive week. He also played a key role in Stuttgart's opener, feeding Bilal El Khannouss before the attacking midfielder embarked on a mazy run and found the back of the net.
Hasan Kurucay, Schalke 04
Another standout performer in Schalke's hard-fought draw against Bayern, Kurucay won four of six ground duels, cleared the ball off the goal line and made five clearances.
Facundo Medina, Bayer Leverkusen
Medina impressed on his first start for Leverkusen, combining an aggressive mentality with composure and quality on the ball. He capped his performance with a goal and completed an impressive 96 percent of his passes.
Miguel Gutierrez, Bayer Leverkusen
Turning in a performance worthy of his predecessor, Alex Grimaldo, Gutierrez was instrumental in Leverkusen's 4-0 demolition of Union Berlin, providing two assists and proving a constant threat from the left.

Another key figure in Leverkusen's emphatic win, Fernandez scored a rare goal, completed 96 percent of his passes and won 80 percent of his ground duels.
Ibrahim Maza, Bayer Leverkusen
Leverkusen's attacking magician produced an eye-catching display, scoring a wonderful goal while creating three key chances for his teammates and completing an impressive six dribbles.
Hugo Bolin, Gladbach
The Swedish international did everything he could to put Gladbach in control, scoring twice in the first half against Elversberg, but the newly-promoted side came back to win 4-3.
