HYDERABAD

BRS leaders K.T. Rama Rao, T. Harish Rao, T. Srinivas Yadav and P. Sabitha Indra Reddy, among others, staged a protest on the land allotted to Tesseract Advanced Systems, a company allegedly belonging to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s brother, near Tukkuguda, on Thursday.

KTR alleged that the government had allotted land worth ₹250 crore to A. Kondal Reddy’s company at just ₹7 crore and demanded that all details of the deal should be placed before people. He sought to know whether handing over costly government land to his family members by the Chief Minister at a throwaway price was not misuse of power.

Further, he wanted clarity on the agreement between Tesseract Advanced Systems with Innovation Ecosystem of Israel and questioned the silence of Central agencies such as ED, CBI and IT, on the land deal. Mr. Rama Rao also wanted to know whether Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy’s family members’ companies were entering the aerospace and defence sectors, along with the CM’s siblings, as the two sectors were purely governed by the Centre.
