Brenden Aaronson: We will continue getting better Brenden Aaronson finished off a fine team move against Manchester United at Croke Park on Wednesday evening, as he converted from Daniel James' well-worked run and pass. The Whites were in action in Dublin for the BOYLE Sports Cup as they continued their pre-season preparations with the clash finishing level before a penalty shootout. On the fixture, Aaronson commented: "I think the game could have gone either way. A tie, if it was the league, but I think we played a great game. "We added quality in spots that we needed," the American added on the squad's recruitment. "I think we are going to continue getting better and better and I think the signings that have come in have been fantastic. "From what I've seen, he's [James Trafford] top. From what I've seen in his first training session yesterday, I was blown away by how much quality he has. "He's a top goalkeeper and we are lucky to have him, and especially today in the game with the saves he made." And looking ahead to the expectations this time round, Aaronson said: "That's always the expectation - to do better. All we want to do is improve and get better as footballers and at this club we want to keep making the fans proud, and we are going to continue to do that."
