If the two sides cannot agree on a contract, Porter Jr. might press the team to trade him before the trade deadline to a team where he can immediately sign a huge new extension.Porter Jr. holds out in the regular season
Porter Jr. might just hold out. He might sit on the PUP list, get put on IR with some shadow injury or just choose to not play at all and sit out the season while he waits for what is next. This would be the ugliest scenario and would scream of the Le'Veon Bell scenario from years ago.
