Borussia Dortmund confirm Veerman signing

Borussia Dortmund confirm Veerman signing Borussia Dortmund have completed the signing of Dutch midfielder Joey Veerman from PSV. The 27-year-old has signed a contract with the Black and Yellows running until 2031. “Joey is a player whose skills will be of enormous help to us. We have deliberately focused our transfer activities this summer on central midfield, because with Pascal Groß and Salih Özcan, we’ve lost two players there since the start of the year – and we plan to use Emre Can in central defense once he returns to the team," said Borussia Dortmund managing director for sport Lars Ricken. Veerman, meanwhile, expressed his excitement at joining the Bundesliga giants. “Borussia Dortmund is a major club in Europe, and I’m proud to now be a part of it. I’m thrilled to be here and look forward to celebrating successes together with BVB," he said.
