Ruben Rodrigues faces up to six weeks out with a knee ligament injury [Getty Images] Bolton Wanderers manager Steven Schumacher has confirmed Ruben Rodrigues could be out for up to six weeks with knee ligament damage. The Portuguese striker sustained the injury in the Trotters' League Cup defeat at Sheffield Wednesday last Saturday. Schumacher told BBC Radio Manchester the news was a "huge blow" with Rodrigues potentially missing as many as eight games. "He got a bang on his knee on Saturday and was uncomfortable. He did manage to carry on, but we've had him scanned and he has a low-grade strain in one of his ligaments in his knee," said the Bolton boss. "The prognosis is he'll probably be out between four and six weeks. It's obviously a huge blow because he's been such a good player for us in pre-season."
