The three-way integration connects Suryoday’s deposit products, SprintMoney’s Financial Marketplace technology, and Hitachi’s ATM infrastructure. Customers at participating ATMs can now discover and initiate a digital Fixed Deposit booking journey without visiting a bank branch or logging into a digital banking platform.
SprintMoney acts as the technology and integration layer between financial institutions and distribution channels. Hitachi’s Android-powered ATM platform enables digital applications to run alongside standard ATM functions, making the arrangement technically feasible.
Suryoday MD and CEO Baskar Babu Ramachandran said the partnership extends the bank’s FD reach beyond traditional banking touchpoints and aligns with its financial inclusion strategy. SprintMoney founder Amit Kumar indicated the platform intends to onboard additional banks and regulated financial institutions going forward.
Suryoday Small Finance Bank, which commenced operations as a Small Finance Bank in January 2017, operates 717 banking outlets across 16 states and union territories, with a strong presence in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Odisha.
Product availability and customer eligibility remain subject to the bank’s prevailing terms and applicable regulatory guidelines.
