Jérémy Doku has signed a new contract with Manchester City which will keep him at the club until 2031.

The 24-year-old has committed his future to City by signing a new three-year extension at the Etihad Stadium.

Doku joined City from Rennes in the summer of 2023 and has since established himself as one of the club’s key attacking players.

The Belgium international has made 131 appearances for City, scoring 22 goals and registering 34 assists.

He has also helped the club win five major honours during his time in Manchester, including the Premier League, FIFA Club World Cup, FA Cup, League Cup and Community Shield.

Speaking after signing his new deal, Doku expressed his delight at extending his stay in Manchester.

“I have loved my time at City so far, so to have the opportunity to stay for longer is a fantastic feeling,” he said.

“This club means so much to me – I have developed as both a player and a person. I feel settled here, and I know I am improving every day because of the work the staff here do.

“It’s hard to explain just how much this club does to help players. I don’t take it for granted and it makes me better.”

Doku is also excited by the arrival of Enzo Maresca as City’s new manager, with the Belgian winger looking forward to playing under the former Chelsea boss.

“With Enzo here now I am really excited about the new season,” he added.

“His style of football is the kind we love, so that’s exciting for the players.

“The City fans are also a huge reason I have signed this new contract. I feel their love and support, and it means the world to me. I want to focus on bringing them the success they deserve.”

Doku joins Phil Foden, Josko Gvardiol and Abdukodir Khusanov in committing his future to City of late.
