Angel Reese continues to excel with the United States in the FIBA World Cup. The former LSU women's basketball star helped lead the team to the semifinals on Saturday. She is one of the first reserves to come into every game and provides reliable defense, rebounding and scoring inside.
In the team's most recent game against Hungary in the quarterfinals, Reese played nearly 18 minutes. She shot four of five from the field, finishing with nine points, six rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block. Caitlin Clark provided assists to Reese on three of her four baskets.
Against Czechia in the final game of the group stage, Reese put together her best performance of the World Cup so far. She played for over 19 minutes, scored 13 points, pulled down six rebounds and came away with three steals.

The World Cup is her first appearance with the USA Basketball senior team. It comes amid her best WNBA season, where she's on track to lead the league in rebounding again.
