Apart from the District Collectors, Ministers, Special Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and heads of various departments will participate in the two-day conference. A total of 19 subjects relating to development, welfare and administration have been listed for discussion during the two-day conference.
The meeting will begin with a review of the action-taken report on the decisions taken during the seventh Collectors’ Conference. The meeting will review the implementation of government services and welfare schemes at the field level, along with measures to address delivery bottlenecks.
On the first day, the government will take up the Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) and district-level development roadmaps under the Swarna Andhra Vision. Implementation of the Super Six welfare schemes will also be reviewed.
Drinking water supply, housing, healthcare and education are among the other subjects scheduled for discussion. The government will also review the State’s performance in Ease of Doing Business and the implementation of the Jaladhara programme.
The conference will also discuss the performance of individual districts, with the Collectors expected to share the best practices and initiatives undertaken in their respective districts.
The second day will focus on administrative functioning and governance. E-governance, disposal of files, RTGS, public grievance redressal and district-wise rankings will be reviewed.
Land administration and utilisation of Central government funds will also figure in the discussions. Skill development programmes and welfare measures for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes and minorities will be reviewed.
The law-and-order situation will also be discussed.
