Islam Makhachev set a new high point in octagon history at UFC 330 with a successful title defense against Ian Machado Garry.
Makhachev (29-1 MMA, 18-1 UFC) became the first to ever win 17 consecutive octagon appearances with a unanimous decision victory over Machado Garry (17-2 MMA, 10-2 UFC) to retain his welterweight belt and entrench himself a true all-time great.
