Previous Previews: QUARTERBACKS, RUNNING BACKS, TIGHT ENDS, WIDE RECEIVERS.

Mizzou’s offensive line has been a stable unit fueling an awesome run game this decade. It’s a unit that’s produced five draft picks since 2021, and filled eight spots on the All-SEC team since 2020. Entering 2026, there will be questions for a unit that’s shown consistency the past few years. There will be new faces at 3 of the 5 positions adding to the list of curiosity for the entire team.

But, this is still a talented unit, and they do return a reigning All-SEC caliber player on Brandon Jones’ unit. Let’s take a look at the members of the Tigers offense line:

Zach Owens: 6-foot-6, 330 lbs., fifth-year, McDonough, GA.

Braylon Ellison: 6-foot-4, 300 lbs., Boonville, MO.

Brysen Wessell: 6-foot-4, 272 lbs., Jackson, MO.

Cayden Green: 6-foot-5, 324 lbs., senior Lee’s Summit, MO.

Colin Sorensen: 6-foot-, 292 lbs., junior, Niceville, FL.

Curtis Peagler: 6-foot-4, 335 lbs., fifth-year, Demopolis, AL.

DJ Jones: 6-foot-6, 315 lbs., freshman, Bradenton, FL.

Dominick Guidice: 6-foot-3, 305 lbs., fifth-year, Freehold, NJ.

Jack Lange: 6-foot-8, 318 lbs., sophomore, Eureka, MO.

Joe Schranz: 6-foot-4, 283 lbs., sophomore, Kearney, MO.

Josh Atkins: 6-foot-3, 315 lbs., fifth-year, Arlington, TX.

Khalief Canty Jr.: 6-foot-4 311 lbs., Detroit, MI.

Logan Reichert: 6-foot-6, 335 lbs., senior, Kansas City, MO.

Luke Work: 6-foot-6, 310 lbs., junior, Somerville, TN.

Ryan Jostes: 6-foot-6, 317 lbs., junior, Washington, MO.

Tristan Wilson: 6-foot-4, 311 lbs., fifth-year, Lebanon, MO.

Whit Hafer: 6-foot-6, 310 lbs., junior, Joplin, MO.

Will Kemna: 6-foot-4, 6-foot-4, 290 lbs., sophomore, Eldon, MO.

The main departures from this massive unit are Keagan Trost and Connor Tollison. Trost was selected in the third round (93rd overall) of the NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams. Tollison, who started at center the past four seasons, graduated.

The Returners

Image from article: 2026 Mizzou Football Preview: Meet Your Offensive Line

Cayden Green – When talking about the Tigers’ offensive line, Green is the player to have the most confidence in heading into 2026. He earned first-team All-SEC honors in 2025 at left tackle in a year when he earned an 89.6 pass-blocking grade and 78.2 run-blocking grade per Pro Football Focus. Impressively, this comes a year after he transitioned from guard to tackle, which is not easy for any player. Nevertheless, he enters 2026 as a preseason All-SEC tackle and one of the best in the SEC. He’s the cornerstone of the offensive line, which is key for a unit with changes.

Dominick Guidice – In 2025, Guidice transferred from Michigan and was solid as a starting left guard. Now, he’s transitioning back to the position he predominantly played at Michigan: center. With the Wolverines in 2024, he played over 250 snaps at the position. Guidice will be replacing Tollison. It’s not as tough as a transition from guard to tackle, but Mizzou will have a new starter at the position for the first time since 2022.

Curtis Peagler – Taking a step forward in 2025, Peagler saw his snap count increase from 26 to 833. Like Green, he’ll continue his familiarity along the offensive line, returning as this team’s right guard. His strength has been as a pass protector as he recorded a 79.1 PFF pass blocking grade in 2025.

Tristan Wilson — After four seasons, Wilson will likely assume a starting role along the offensive line at left guard.

“Tristan has developed himself into a starter in the SEC and really one of our most versatile players,” — Eli Drinwkitz. From Matthew Gustafson’s Defensive Starting Spots Up For Grabs Heading Into Final Week of Fall Camp.

Wilson has played every position along the offensive line while being a Tiger. In 2024, he played 49 snaps for Mizzou at both guard and tackle positions. Last year, he increased his snap total to 168 where he played at both center and right guard. On Saturday, the team moved him to center with the team holding Giudice out. Drinkwitz was pleased with how he handled the operation.

“He handled everything from cadence to snap county to identification. We didn’t really miss a beat — Drinkwitz.”

Very encouraging to see in regards to the development of Wilson, who is a Lebanon, Mo. native.

Logan Reichert — Reichert has been in the program since 2023 as a former 4-star recruit from Raytown. In 2024, he played 56 snaps at left guard before seeing limited action in 2025. He enters this year as one of the longest-tenured players on Mizzou’s offensive line and will contribute to the team’s depth once again in 2026, whether at guard or swing tackle.

Jack Lange — In 2025, Lange arrived in Columbia as one of the highly recruited players in the Show Me State. He played just four snaps in his freshman season, but you’d expect him to keep growing and become a key contributor on this offensive line, whether at guard or tackle in the future; hopefully, we’ll see a lot of positives early in the non-conference slate.

Whit Hafer – Switched from tight end to the offensive line in 2025. Entering his third season with the program, he’s appeared in 50 special teams snaps.

Joe Schranza, Ryan Joastes, and Will Kema round out the returning depth for the unit.

The Newcomers

Luke Work — Arriving from Mississippi State, Work is on track to be this team’s starting right tackle when Mizzou takes the field against Arkansas Pine-Bluff, which is what Drinkwitz noted on Saturday. He arrives from Starkville with 488 career snaps between 2024 and 2025. What’s interesting about Work is that he’s lined up at every position on the offensive line except center during his time in Starkville, including 91 snaps at right tackle in 2024. He not only can play the position but also brings versatility, which is key on any unit.

Josh Atkins – With a lower-body injury, Atkins will miss a significant portion of the 2026 season, with Eli Drinkwitz mentioning that his absence will last longer than expected. He arrived at Columbia as this team’s projected right tackle. He’s played mainly on the left side, but has 2,400-plus snaps at tackle between Arizona State and Hawaii.

Zach Owens – Owens arrives from Mississippi State, where he played 301 snaps for the Bulldogs. He’ll be the backup to Wilson at left guard. He does bring versatility with his game, as he’s appeared at both guard positions in the past. Nevertheless, he brings that sixth-man versatility needed on the interior.

Colin Sorensen – For the past two seasons, Sorensen competed at Charleston Southern, where he was an All-Conference honorable mention in 2025. He’s gotten plenty of work at left, with 1,058 career snaps. Like Owens, He adds veteran depth to the Tigers’ offensive line.

DJ Jones – Coming from Venice, FL, Jones is regarded as one of the top-rated tackles in the country. Jones is a 4-star recruit and helped lead Venice to a deep postseason run in the 7A State Playoffs. Yes, he’s young, but he’s someone you have high hopes for in the team’s young depth.

Khalief Canty Jr. – Arriving from Detroit, Canty is a 3-star recruit and top-20 player in Michigan from Cass Technical High School. He earned all-state honors in 2024 and was an all-district selection the following year. He plays within the interior at guard and chose the Tigers over the likes of the in-state Big 10 schools as well as Alabama and Auburn.

Brysen Wessell – Another in-state recruit in this year’s recruiting class. Wessell was ranked as a top-10 player in the state, coming from Jackson High School, where he was a 6A All-State selection. He was a part of a Jackson team that went 12-1 a season ago. He was also a three-sport athlete in track and wrestling.

Braylon Ellison – It’s always nice to see local talent stay home. Ellison competed in Mid-Missouri at Boonville High School. He arrives as a 3-star recruit on the interior offensive line.

Summing up the room in 2026

The offensive line is always a polarizing position. When things are going well, you barely notice them at first glance. But the moment something goes wrong- the quarterback holds the ball too long, causing a self-inflicted sack- where does the blame go?

As mentioned at the top, Mizzou’s offensive line has been fine in recent years. They’ve helped create in the run game, and when the quarterback play is consistent, the whole offense clicks.

This year, having Green, Giudice, and Peagler is huge: three veterans with experience within the program.

Right tackle and left guard are the question marks. Work has experience in the SEC, but at right tackle, he has PFF grades of 57.3, 46.3, and 63.5 against Power 4 opponents. Will a change of scenery and an offseason under Brandon Jones elevate his play? Time will tell. Wilson has been here in Columbia, but what will a bigger role look like for him?

If those two positions work out, then you’re looking at a well-rounded offensive line in 2026. It starts up front, and if that group is humming, Mizzou will put up a lot of points in 2026.

Projected Depth Chart

LT: Cayden Green, Jack Lange/Logan Reichert, DJ Jones

LG: Tristan Wilson, Zach Owens

C: Dominick Giudice, White Hafer, Colin Sorensen

RG: Curtis Peagler, Khalief Canty Jr.

RT: Luke Work, Jack Lange/Logan Reichert,

*Injured: Josh Atkins.
