The Little League World Series is set to start Wednesday with 10 U.S. teams and 10 international teams playing for the championship.
The tournament starts with four games each on Wednesday and Thursday with teams playing in opposing international and U.S. brackets. Each bracket will be played in a double elimination format until two teams from each bracket are left standing.
The remaining four teams will play in international and U.S. championship games on Aug. 29. The winner of those two games will advance to play in the championship game on Aug. 30. The losers of the semifinals will play in a third-place game.
The majority of the games will be broadcast on ESPN with a few exceptions during bracket play. The U.S. and international championship games and the final championship game will air on ABC. All games will be played in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
