draft slots are like seats at a concert: They're all part of the same event, but they're definitely not created equal.
The value of draft slots can vary greatly by season. In a year where there's a consensus No. 1 player, having the top spot could be a huge advantage. In seasons with a clear-cut Tier 1 but no obvious top dog, the second, third or fourth slots might be ideal.
In order to rank this year's slots, I'm going to utilize and assign players to each slot in order of their value. For this exercise, we will be focused on 12-team leagues, and we'll utilize the half-PPR values.
