Texas A&M's No. 1-ranked 2027 recruiting class is all but wrapped up, and after former transfer wide receivers KC Concepcion and Mario Craver combined for nearly 1,900 yards and 11 touchdowns, the Aggies landed four blue-chip wideouts in the 2026 signing class, including Aaron Gregory, who has stood out this spring and preseason and is expected to see the field in some capacity this fall.
This momentum continued into the 2027 cycle, as coach Mike Elko and new OC Holmon Wiggins, who served as A&M's standout wide receivers coach and ace recruiter, landed commitments from five-star Eric McFarland, four-star Jaden Upshaw, and three-star receivers Demani Warren and Trey Haddad, who are all considered elite playmakers, a perfect fit in Wiggins' spread-out passing attack.
While Trey Haddad can play multiple positions, Demani Warren is a true X receiver; Jaden Upshaw, who is one of the more physical receivers in the country, can play the X or Z; and Eric McFarland is a shoo-in to replace Mario Craver as the future starting slot receiver.
Last week, Warren and Upshaw stood out during their first live action this fall, starting their senior seasons off on the right foot, further proving why Elko and Wiggins were beyond jubilant to land both wideouts. During his first two games, Warren recorded 5 receptions for 123 yards and 6 receptions for 71 yards and a touchdown.
Texas A&M WR commit Damani Warren had a solid night against Carlsbad (CA) on Friday.

Strong for start for the future Aggie 💪🏻 #GigEm@bbgdmoneyy | @aggiefootball05 | @GigEm247pic.twitter.com/iAaKLFHaJa
Jaden Upshaw was equally impressive, producing over 100 yards with a score, while TexAgs analyst Jason Howell was right on the money to point out the four-star receiver's impressive block in the red zone that led to a touchdown. Every coach in the country is looking to land and develop wide receivers who can simply do it all, starting with physicality after the catch and blocking till the whistle on every run play.
Texas A&M commit Jaden Upshaw went for over 100 yards with a TD and a 2-pt conversion this week, but play No. 1 on the 📼 is him blocking a defender through the endzone.
